Relejni modul 1 rele I2C XL9535 5V
Razširite število relejev preko I2C vodila
This I2C relay module, featuring the XL9535 chip, allows for the expansion of relay control using only two wires (SDA/SCL), conserving microcontroller I/O pins. It provides full galvanic isolation via an optical coupler, protecting sensitive microcontroller circuits from high voltages. Each module can be assigned a unique I2C address (0x20 by default, configurable via A0, A1, A2 solder pads) allowing up to 8 modules (16 relays) on a single bus.
It’s compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic controllers like ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino. Integrated pull-up resistors simplify I2C communication. It’s ideal for projects where I/O pins are scarce, for remote control of devices, or for integrating auxiliary systems in smart homes, especially with ESPHome.
The module includes a USB-C input for stable 5V power, which is recommended for reliable operation, particularly when switching inductive loads..

Inženirski “PRO” nasvet
This module is a ‘secret weapon’ for projects with multiple sensors. If you already have a temperature sensor or screen connected to the I2C bus, you can simply ‘attach’ this relay. It is advisable to use the shortest possible I2C cables (under 30 cm) in the code to prevent potential communication interference, especially if the relay is switching powerful inductive loads such as fans or pumps. For stable operation in permanent projects, use an external 5V power supply via the integrated USB-C input, as relays consume significant current (70-100 mA per relay) during switching, which can cause microcontrollers to restart if powered directly from a computer. When working with 230V, ensure the device is disconnected from the mains before wiring and enclose the circuit in an insulated housing. Understand NO, NC, and COM terminals: COM is common, NO (Normally Open) means the device is off until activated, and NC (Normally Closed) means the device is on by default and turns off when activated. Most projects use NO.
